Cookie Policy

What lixsady.online stores in your browser, why, and what — if anything — gets sent to a server.

Last updated: August 2026

The short version

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and it does not run any analytics. The only things stored in your browser are a handful of small preferences — language, text size, contrast, and motion settings — saved locally so the site remembers your choices on your next visit. Nothing in that list identifies you or leaves your device.

The one place this site does collect personal information is the Lixvera tester application — that's a form you fill in and submit on purpose, covered separately below.

What's stored locally

Technically, these are stored using your browser's localStorage, not cookies — they aren't sent to our server with every request the way a cookie would be. We're listing them here anyway because they serve the same purpose (remembering a setting between visits) and this is the page people expect to find that information on.

KeyPurposeType
lixsady_lang Remembers your selected language (English, French, German, Japanese). Preference
lixsady_textscale Remembers your chosen text size from the accessibility panel. Preference
lixsady_contrast Remembers whether high-contrast mode is enabled. Preference
lixsady_motion Remembers whether you've asked the site to reduce motion/animation. Preference

What we don't use

No advertising or ad-retargeting cookies.

No third-party analytics or behavior tracking (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no similar tools).

No cross-site tracking of any kind.

No session cookies — you don't log in to this site, so there's no account session to maintain.

Third-party resources

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and the Three.js library from a CDN (cdnjs.cloudflare.com). Loading these makes a direct request to Google's and Cloudflare's servers, which will see your IP address as part of that request — the same as any request to load an image or script from another domain. Neither is used by us for tracking, and we don't control what those providers do with standard server request logs on their end.

The tester application

If you submit a Lixvera tester application, we store what you enter — name, email, date of birth, and your answers — in our database so we can review it and verify your email address. This is data you provide directly and knowingly, not something collected passively through cookies. If you'd like your application data removed, contact us at contact@lixsady.ch.

Managing or clearing local storage

You can clear the preferences listed above at any time through your browser's site settings (usually under "Clear browsing data" or "Site settings" → this site → "Clear data"). Doing so just resets the site to its default language and appearance — nothing else is affected.
